The purpose of this tutorial:

  • Set the trunk for outbounding
  • Configure the softphone registered to astercc
  • How to create a ringgroup
  • How to configure Iroutes

Add Account

System user to account for the unit, each account can add multiple extension Device(pbx Management / Devices).

Click the Account Management list User Management→ accounts, to add the account.

Fill information in turn, “*” must be filled in. After inputting information completely click Save.

Account settings “Monitor Force” option If you select “enable” all extensions of the account of all relevant calls are recorded,and if select the “Disabled” is whether recorded will depend on the recording option of “Devices” under the PBX Management.

Add Extension

Extension devices used to register the softphone, answer and dial regular phone calls.

After adding account and saving information can directly to add extension devices fo these accounts:

Click “Add Device”, set up a device number of 9000

According to this way click “Device Continue” button to add another two devices 8001 and 8000

After adding the devices, PBX Management→ Devices, you can find the list you have finished.

You can also go to PBX management / Devices to add an device directly:

Fill information in turn, “*” must be filled in. After inputting information completely click Save.

Double-click any device data of the devices list, you can open the editing interface, double-click black font can edit,gray font can not be modified, system prompts to successfully updated information and automatically saved after the mouse left.

Add or edit is complete, on the top of devices management interface may be find reload prompts, if it has please click reload and then the setting will be to take effect.

Add RingGroups

Put the devices have been configured into the RingGroups,select Ringstrategy when the call ringing.

Click the Account Management list PBX Management→ RingGroups, to add a RingGroup.

Select the device in the box, then click the “right”, so that the selected devices will put the ringgroup, when the call incoming the system will work under the ringstrategy.

ringall:when the call incoming,all of devices are ringing.

hunt:when the call incoming,according to the order of the selected devices one by one is ringing,after response will be re-ringing like this order.

hunt-next:when the call incoming,for example there are 3 devices 9000,8001,8000,device 9000 is frist ringing, if no answer device 8001 is ringing.In accordance with this rule until one device response,when the call incoming again,the next of the responsive device is ringing.

memoryhunt:when the call incoming,for example there are 3 devices 9000,8001,8000.First device 9000 is ring,if no answer device 9000 and 8001 are ringing,……last device 9000,8001,8000 are ringing.

firstavailable:just ringring the available device.

“*” must be filled in. After inputting information completely click Save.

Configurate softphone

  • install Xlite

Double click X-Lite_Win32_1011s_41150.exe installer

click “Next” continue

Select “agreement” to continue

Select the installer directory and continue

Click “NEXT” to complete the automatic installation.

  • SIP account settings

Set the SIP account,first time run Xlite system will popup SIP account settings interface automatically.You can also right-click Xlie interface,select “SIP Account Settings” to enter the interface.

Click the “Add” button to add a SIP account,SIP account that is corresponding to the system is added to a type of SIP device,open the Device Management page, double-click a device record to open the following screen:

Red font identifies the corresponding relationship between bdevice information and Xlite SIP account settings .

Displayname:fill in “CallerName”

User name:fill in “Identity”

Password:fill in “Secret”

Domain:fii in IP address

Click “OK” to submit set

After successful registration, Ready message is displayed:

Then softphone is configured, as needed using a softphone for outbound, inbound, while achieving an internal call.

Can dial other device number, when the calls incoming pops up information.

Here let we begin to set the Trunks

Add Trunks

Add the use of external call trunk line ,including appropriated PSTN telephone network and other switches within the line.

Click the Account Management list PBX Management→ trunks, to enter the trunks interface.

Fill information in turn, “*” must be filled in.

Registry String:internal network IP docking mode,enter the correct format. Detail in advanced:Using IP to trunk docking,This option should fill in the IP address of the remote device, as shown below:

blacklist: blacklist is used to set the Caller ID list when useing this trunk is not allowed to dialing.Multiple numbers can use “Enter” line feed,if the dialing numbers in this blacklist when calling is prohibited outbound.

whitelist: whitelist is used to set the Caller ID list when useing this trunk is allowed to dialing.Multiple numbers can use “Enter” line feed,if set this option,just only dialing the numbers in whitelist when outbounding.

After inputting information completely click Save.

Add or edit is complete, on the top of trunks management interface may be find reload prompts, if it has please click reload and then the setting will be to take effect.

Add Trunk Groups

Click the Account Management list Pbxadvanced Management→ Trunk Groups, to enter the Trunk Groups interface.

Choose trunk from the list on the left and click “right” to add to this trunk into trunk group, the order will affect which trunk of priority when outbound,the first trunk added the priority is high,that is, trunks which are selected the more on the top of the list the more priority is higher, if high priority of trunk is dailing failed or in busy line, then followed with the next trunk.

Add DID

Click the Account Management list PBX Management→ DID, enter to add DID interface.

DID as access number when call incoming,is the phone number that company announced.

Fill information in turn, “*” must be filled in. After inputting information completely click Save.

Add Iroutes

Add a iroute to determine user through which number can enter a specified process after the call incoming.

Click the Account Management list Pbxadvanced Management→ Iroutes, enter to add Iroutes interface.

DIDmatch: select single or group. Select single,then DIDidentityId option should select the DID number match with it.

Transfer: click “Transfer” button will pop up the list,select “ringgroup”.

Actionid: select the name of ringgroup be used.

TrunkType: Select a object the iroute matches with, including trunk and trunk groups, select trunk,then the Trunkname select the name of trunk be used.

After inputting information completely click Save.
