How to choose hardware for your call center

When you choose hardware for asterCC Commercial Call Center system, you need consider the following facts

  • Concurrent Calls
  • Concurrent Agents (login via browser or login via phone)
  • Modules
  • Trunk and codec
  • Customer package scale
  • Reliability

For a bigger system, you can use several servers for different work load, system are made up with three parts

  • PBX – require hard disk I/O(with recording)
  • Mysql Database – depends on the customer packages, it requires both CPU, memory and H.D. I/O, also you may need a Master/Master or Master/Slave system for H.A.
  • WEB – it depends on agents logged via browser, usually you need a new server every 60 agents, it requires CPU

For your reference, here's are some hardware using by customers, it only tells us what our customer are using now, doesn't mean it reaches the maximum performance.
